Kayak Hire Now Available!
Did you know in Scotland we have lochs and not lakes? A loch is an enclosed body of water or water inlet like a fjord.
Scotland has an estimated 31460 freshwater lochs and lochans (a small loch). At Adventure Wagons we want to you to explore Scotland in as many ways as possible. We've purchased two Sevylor inflatable kayaks for 2017.
We love getting out on the water and find we see things that others miss by exploring hidden corners. A favourite of ours is Loch Morlich just ten minutes drive from Aviemore situated in the Cairngorms National Park. Loch Morlich is nestled in forest trails with a fantastic 1km long natural sandy beach to launch from. There's also a great little river to explore with overhanging and submerged trees to navigate around for around 100m.

What's the Cost:

At the moment we recommend hiring a kayak with our VW Caddy (Roof Box model) or our Mazda Bongo with Roof Box so that you have enough space to store the equipment. It is also essential that you are a confident swimmer should you hire a kayak from us. We supply buoyancy aids but it is important that you are aware that you are responsible for assessing the safety of the location and conditions on the day before you set out in a kayak.
